Newegg RMA a consistant joke. - ASUS z97 Pro Motherboard


I bought a ASUS z97 motherboard from Newegg. After about 8 days after using it 3 sata ports failed. I reported this to Newegg who sent me an EMA label. Having seen many complaints on their website about refused RMA due to "end-user caused physical damage to the CPU socket contact pins" I carefully removed the motherboard and cpu chip then thoroughly checked both front and back of the motherboard with attention to the cpu socket pins.

Long story short, guess what I receiced a refused RMA due to "end-user caused physical damage to the CPU socket contact pins".

Since they say I damaged the pins I guess it's only fair to blame the Newegg RMA boys for the damage.

I personally replaced the board, notified them that as of now no more ordering. I completed the complaint with I don't need Newegg You need my money.....
