  • Purchased defective motherboard from Newegg

    This review has been resolved or replied to by this company. I seldom complain about an online purchase. Most vendors go out of their way to make sure the customer is happy. Newegg is the notable exception. I've never met a company so unwilling to make right on a purchase. I spent $325 for an ASUS motherboard only to find it defective. I went through the Newegg process to return it only to have them reject the return saying I damaged the board, with is totally absurd. No amount of calling, writing did any good. Even American Express tried 3 times to get the charge reversed, all to no avail. Bottom line is Newegg puts on a nice web site.... More...

  • MSI GT70 purchased on 6th with next day air

    I purchased the said laptop on the 6th of February with next day air.. Got it 2 days later. Drive was clicking but had no smart errors (still seen many drives have mechanical failure with no signs in SMART) Then by time I tried to pair my phone it would not work either. So took necessary troubleshooting measures to find out that nothing would solve it. The final nail in the coffin was the intermittent touch-pad issue.     Be careful when ordering from Newegg. I ordered a TV that was in stock only to find out they charged my card and voided the order 3 days later. After being whored around to supervisor after supervisor, I eventually received my money back however their ability to make good on a comparable TV I ordered has been weak at best. For each response I send to their supervisors email it takes them 2-3 days for them to get back to me. Even if I respond to them as soon as I get their email. Horrible service.   • Horrible ethics horribly unorganized

    I have never worked with company so inept in my life. We ordered a TV that arrived damaged, they can't seem to keep track of phone calls we made to rectify the situation and now they are flat our screwing us and not refunding our money. Outrageous. We have more than given Newegg the opportunity to make it right and they do not take us seriously. Each time we call they just pass us from one worker to another and lie saying the problem has been fixed.   • Bank charge review

    I called to let them know that my credit card has a charge on it and I never ordered anything from them. I received the alert from my bank the very day the charged showed up on my account. I called them to stop the shipment from being delivered and they refused to stop it or give me ay of the information of who ordered it, where it is being shipped to and whose name it is being shipped under.   • Customer service sucks

    I usually have no issues with newegg, therefore have never needed to use their customer service center. I had accidentally ordered the wrong part, and had gone to live chat and talked with a rep, who said I needed to return it. I sent him the confirmation email, stating that I had ordered the wrong part and needed it replaced with the correct part and the live chat kicked me out.     I ordered a camera online through newegg which said that the camera would be shipped within 2 business days. After 2 days, they were still verifying my credit card details. I put in a next day delivery (extra $25) and 3 days passed by, they still had my order under "processing". To top it all, their agent told me that there is a "possibility that the package would be sent out today". She couldn't promise me as to when they would ship the package and was extremely rude!   • Best At Addressing Problems

    I have ordered several computer related items from over the past few years. I am now a loyal customer, and the company receives my highest recommendation. On a few occasions, I have had items arrive damaged from The response of their customer service staff has always been prompt and completely satisfactory. I have received store credit for my time, a free baseball cap, and have never had to pay return shipping (despite the statement on the website that it is the customer's responsibility to do so).
